Do I have to rent Saturday to Saturday?
No, we will work with you to accommodate mid-week travel.

Will you rent a car for me?
We have good relationships with St. John car rental companies and will be happy to make these reservations for you.

Can I rent just a week at Christmas/New Years?
We prefer ten day to two week bookings for that time, but if the dates back up to an existing booking, we will do what we can.

Can I get a discount?
If you rent for more than two weeks, or if you reserve less than thirty days before coming, you will receive a ten percent discount.

Are there any other charges?
In addition to the rental fee, there is an 8% Virgin Islands hotel tax, and we charge a $1.00 per day contribution to the Community Foundation.

Can I check in early or check out late?
If we don’t have a same day turnaround, we’ll be happy to accommodate your schedule, but let us know ahead of time.

How do I get to St. John from the airport?
Dynamic Tours offers round trip private taxi service between the airport and the ferry dock in Red Hook. (DynamicTours@surfvi.com). Otherwise you take a regular taxi to the ferry dock in Red Hook, then the twenty minute ferry to Cruz Bay, St. John.

Will you meet me at the dock?
All of the car rental agencies are either a short walk from the ferry or will send an agent to meet you. We will arrange to have your map and key instructions for the house waiting for you at your car rental agency.

What do I need to bring?
A passport, good sunscreen, any medications you regularly take. The houses have beach chairs and beach towels. Remember: When you pack your bags, LEAVE HALF OF THEM AT HOME!!! You’ll be comfortable in shorts and t-shirts, bathing suits and cover-ups.

Should I bring food from home?
We have a complete selection of groceries, sundries, wines and liquors available on St. John.

Do you have a high chair or crib?
We do, but reserve it early.
